The Ninth Gallery Journey
From the humble Ninth St. in Columbia, Missouri, we began the journey to create the Ninth Gallery store. Taking on the idea of infusing arts and culture into our lifestyle and brewing life’s aesthetics in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, we seek to create a modern cultural oasis and premier lifestyle destination.

Our Story
We opened the doors of our first physical store at Publika Solaris Dutamas, one of Kuala Lumpur’s arts and culture hubs, in 2017 and amidst the mix of restaurants, cafes, art galleries and retail stores we find ourselves very much at home. The Team at Ninth Gallery
Eve
Founder
Behind Ninth Gallery is director Eve Lim. With a BS in Economics and a minor in Mathematics, Eve began her career in financial risk consultancy before taking the route less traveled and opening Ninth Gallery. Taking a real hands on approach to running her business; from sourcing to shipping to speeches (Eve was a speaker at Giftionary Taiwan 2018); there’s no task too small for her! Her favourite things in-store are the pink ChanZ Studio ring holders, and she believes that you can never have enough Nahe pouches.
Yen
E-Commerce Manager
Having graduated in Tokyo with a degree in interior architecture, Yen’s experience living and working in Japan brings a unique and detailed orientated approach to designing the layout of our store. A travel aficionado, Yen’s favourite item from Ninth Gallery is the Nahe Travel Organiser. With it’s many pockets and slots for storage, it makes getting through customs a total breeze.
Han
Sourcing Manager
With a keen eye for design, style and substance, our sourcing manager Han understands that there is no substitute for for quality and curates with this key thought in mind. He believes that the test of a great product is whether it becomes one you use over and over again, and effortlessly compliments the other items in your home.
Erica
Community Manager
Say hello to our community manager, Erica! With a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture in her pocket, Erica has dabbled in both corporate and creative fields before joining the Ninth Gallery team where she is responsible for our social media and correspondence amongst so many other things (sometimes even the visual merchandising)! A great believer in the preservation of moments and memories, Erica’s favourite item from our store is the Midori Traveler’s Notebook; of which she has many!
Cheryl
Brand Specialist
With a background in retail and customer service, Cheryl is our brand specialist and in-house stationery addict. Apart from having to get to know each brand that we carry; and owning a bunch of them herself; she is also at the front line of customer service at the store. Drop in anytime to ask her (or any of us, really) about any item you see in our online store or on our social media!
